Chicken Licken' Mixed Poultry Grit is a mixture of both oyster shell and flint grit. This makes sure that chickens get both types of grit they need.
Chickens need soluble oyster shell grit to produce harder and more attractive shells, they also need insoluble flint grit to help them grind up the food in their crops to make it digestible.
All chickens should have grit freely available at all times.
