Feeding Poultry is not complex although there is probably a bit more to it than some people might imagine. Basically, there are three stages of a chicken's life and feeding requires different feeds for each stage: chick crumbs for very young birds (6 – 8 wks), 'grower's pellets' for young birds (8-16Wks or POL) and 'layers pellet' for mature egg-laying birds.
